| Overview: |
The IT Support Technician I provides superlative service and assistance to some very important people, our employees! Excellent communication skills are required. Qualified candidates will posses at least two years of proven success deploying and supporting Windows based desktop systems (Mac experience is a huge plus). The ability to troubleshoot logically and research solutions independently is required. Our IT Support team is dynamic and a highly-valued asset to the company. | Responsibilities: |
- Process, document, and troubleshoot inbound employee IT issues generated by phone calls, emails, tickets, and in-person visits by following best practice ticket writing:
- Analyze and troubleshoot
- Problem resolution
- Accurate and detailed documentation of symptoms, troubleshooting steps with results and resolution
- When applicable, escalate issues to appropriate internal resources
- Present friendly, helpful and receptive attitude toward all DDC employees using excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Account, workstation, and phone provisioning for new hires and role changes
- Software deployment, upgrades, and patch management
- Troubleshoot and address Windows and Mac OS X client systems and supporting infrastructure
- Security: virus/malware removal
- Prioritization of tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Basic VOIP phone system maintenance
- Approach all work with high ethical standards

| Qualifications: |
The Ideal candidate will be in a Helpdesk / IT Support role, with 2-4 years experience of desktop/IT Systems Support. BS in IT or related field preferred, but comparable work experience will be considered. Skills
